I love the design of this watch and bought two of them when they cost $60.00. The only thing is the plastic section of the band that connects to the watch. Both bands have failed at that same place. The plastic cracks and breaks. I have been able to replace the bands with another metal one. The new bands pin into the other weak spot — the plastic connecting piece that looks like metal. Eventually that gives way too. This is a relatively good watch for the price I paid (~$45), but it has a few drawbacks which made me dislike it from the minute I got it (I wouldn’t buy it had I saw it in person – it was an online purchase).
1. It is way too thick. Much more than I expected. You cannot see this in any of the online pictures – all are straight from the front.
2. It scratches very easily. A few weeks of use and I already had a few big scratches. Three years of use, and the the plastic is also scratched and dull.
3. Analog feature a bit useless: when you look at the watch the digital is more visible, and the analog part is just “in your way”. It should have something else displayed using the digital display (at least as an option), or make the minute and hour hands more clear.
4. Minutes hand moves every 20sec. Synchronizing it with the digital watch is not easy.
There are a few pros, though:
1. Many features.
2. Three years of use and it works like new (doesn’t look like new, of course).
3. Low price.
4. Gains only about a second every too days.
